The Boston Red Sox<\/a> won 10\u20133 over the Detroit Tigers<\/a> on Tuesday night at Comerica Park. Brayan Bello<\/strong><\/a> pitched seven innings of one-run ball after Jovani Moran<\/strong><\/a> opened the game. Framber Valdez<\/strong><\/a> imploded, as the Red Sox had a 10-run explosion in the<\/p>\n After two groundouts to start the first, Wilyer Abreu<\/strong><\/a> and Trevor Story<\/strong><\/a> each got on base. With Ceddanne Rafaela<\/strong><\/a> up, he received a 1\u20131 sinker down the middle and went opposite field for a three-run bomb. Not to be deterred, the Tigers responded with a leadoff home run from Matt Vierling<\/strong><\/a>, as well as an RBI single by Wenceel Perez<\/strong><\/a> to make it 3\u20132 after one inning.<\/p>\n Rafaela came up with two runners on once again. This time, he drove an RBI single up the middle to extend the lead. Andruw Monasterio<\/strong><\/a>, Caleb Durbin<\/strong><\/a> and Connor Wong<\/strong><\/a> all followed up with RBI singles of their own. Isiah Kiner-Falefa<\/strong><\/a> would hit into a fielder’s choice scoring another run in the process. Valdez finally got the third out, but not before the Red Sox made it 8\u20132 through three innings.<\/p>\n Willson Contreras<\/strong><\/a> started the fourth with a 449-foot home run, flipping his bat in the process. Wilyer Abreu came up and made it back-to-back jacks, making it 10\u20132. Valdez responded by plunking Trevor Story in the bat first pitch, causing the benches to clear, as well as getting him ejected.<\/p>\n Dillon Dingler<\/strong><\/a> ripped an RBI single to make it 10\u20133 before Bello got through the fifth without much more trouble. Bello allowed one baserunner in the next three innings, before Alec Gamboa<\/strong><\/a> got the ballin the ninth.<\/p>\n After Jovani Moran struggling in the first inning, Brayan Bello delivered his best outing of the year.<\/p>\n This marks only the second time the Red Sox put up double-digit runs all year. The team as a whole feasted, going 5-for-10 with runners in scoring position, and seven guys driving in runs.<\/p>\n After a three-hit performance in the last game, he followed it up with a three strikeout game this contest, while going 0-for-5 in the process. He was the only Red Sox hitter to not record a hit or an RBI in this game.<\/p>\n The last game of the series will take place on Wednesday at 6:40 pm Eastern.
