PHOENIX, Apr. 7 \u2014 It\u2019s Game Two of a four-game set between the Arizona Diamondbacks<\/a> and Los Angeles Dodgers<\/a>. Thursday night, the Dodgers prevailed, 5\u20132. Prior to Friday\u2019s game, Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo<\/a><\/strong> and Dodgers manager Dave Roberts<\/a><\/strong> both spoke with the press.<\/p>\n Right-handed reliever Cole Sulser<\/a><\/strong> went on the 15-day injured list with a strained right teres major. It was discovered during a medical exam Thursday. The timeline, while not fully known yet, is likely to be \u201cweeks,\u201d according to Lovullo. To fill the roster spot, the Diamondbacks have called up right-hander Luis Frias<\/a><\/strong>. \u201cHe threw the ball well in his Triple-A outings,\u201d Lovullo said. \u201cThe reports were very good. Always excited to bring back that type of power arm. He\u2019s continuing to work, grow, and mature\u2026.\u201d<\/p>\n Joe Mantiply<\/a><\/strong> \u201cthrew the ball very well today,\u201d Lovullo said, tossing 20 pitches in a workout Friday. Lovullo does not know the next step yet, although he reminded reporters that he prefers rehab assignments when players return from injury.<\/p>\n Right-handed reliever Brusdar Graterol<\/a><\/strong>, who missed the opener with a strained back, is available to pitch today.<\/p>\n Clayton Kershaw<\/a><\/strong> is making his 400th career start tonight. Only 34 pitchers have done that before.
