PHOENIX, June 2 \u2014 Arizona Diamondbacks<\/a> left fielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr.<\/a><\/strong> continued his hot streak, smacking a two-run first-inning double and making two key defensive plays to lead his team past the Atlanta Braves<\/a>, 3\u20132, in a Friday-night pitchers\u2019 duel. The Diamondbacks hung on for victory despite a two-homer game from Braves left fielder Eddie Rosario<\/a><\/strong> and despite not getting a hit beyond the fourth inning.<\/p>\n Braves starter Charlie Morton<\/a><\/strong> and Diamondbacks starter Merrill Kelly<\/a><\/strong> both lasted seven innings in a playoff-style pitchers\u2019 duel.
