The Los Angeles Angels<\/a> continue their buying mentality this trade deadline, acquiring C.J. Cron<\/strong><\/a> and Randal Grichuk<\/strong><\/a> from the Colorado Rockies<\/a>. Earlier this week, the Angels received Lucas Giolito<\/strong><\/a> and Reynaldo Lopez<\/a><\/strong> from the Chicago White Sox<\/a> in exchange for Catcher Edgar Quero<\/strong><\/a> and pitcher Ky Bush<\/a><\/strong>. Both are high prospects for the Angels. Angels owner Arturo Moreno has decided to push the chips in for a playoff push. On an expiring contract, Shohei Ohtani<\/strong><\/a> was looked at by other teams on the trade market; however, the Angels have decided to take him off the market.<\/p>\n
