The terms and conditions of the Sport Relay Newsletter must be accepted prior to the user being added to the mailing list, as described in section II. The term, “user” refers to an individual either in the process of signing up, considering signing up, or one who has previously registered to receive the newsletter from SportRelay.com.
I. Description of Service
Sport Relay’s Newsletter consists of a simple automated email sent to the user’s address upon publication of a new article in the category(ies) of their choosing. The user will be notified with a separate email for each new article. There can be more or fewer emails depending on the number of articles published.
II. Registration for Newsletter Subscription
By checking the box to agree to the terms & conditions on the newsletter registration form, then subsequently clicking the submit button, you are hereby agreeing to receive the newsletter emails defined in section I.
III. How to Opt Out
If the user decides to subsequently opt out of receiving these emails, they can click the link at the bottom of the email that was sent by Sport Relay to unsubscribe. This will immediately remove the user from that email list. The user will need to click the unsubscribe link for each team/list they previously subscribed to. Alternatively, the user may use the contact form to unsubscribe to all teams’ mailing lists, request any change in newsletter subscription status, or customize their newsletter subscription, e.g. the user wants to halt newsletter emails from one team and begin emails from another.
IV. Privacy
Sport Relay values its users’ privacy more than its profits and therefore does not sell users’ data nor share its mailing lists with any other entity. Only Sport Relay knows who its subscribers are and we expect to keep it that way.
