Would you like to get your foot in the door as an MLB or sports journalist? Do you think that you have what it takes to write for a real news-gathering site? Sport Relay does not only cover teams, but we are a team and we are always looking for new members. As an MLB Contributor, you will be responsible for covering breaking news—as it happens.
Contributors can write analyses about how the breaking news is going to affect a player or team in conjunction with a Beat Writer or Senior Writer that covers the team. As Contributors gain experience and prove themselves, you can move up to a Beat Writer covering a specific team. Most of our Beat Writers are credentialed by the teams they cover, or soon to be credentialed, so that they can cover their teams live from the Press Box.
