He suffered a Grade 2 strain of his left quadriceps muscle in 2018 and has reinjured the shoulder multiple times since. He has bounced around with the A’s, White Sox, Blue Jays, Braves, Dodgers, and his hometown Mariners. For his career, Lamb has a slash line of .236/.237/.429 with 94 home runs for a WAR of 7.2
Angels Add Depth
The Angels have been stocking up on corner infielders this offseason as they struggled with injuries in 2021. Lamb gives them a left-handed bat with some power that can play all over the diamond. He tends to struggle against Left-handed pitchers batting .170 in his career. Lamb signs hoping he can latch on and fill a platoon with Anthony Rendon for Manager Phil Nevin. The Angels have been active this offseason with additions Hunter Renfroe, Brandon Drury, and Gio Urshela joining Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani in Anaheim.
