The Boston Red Sox fell, 7–6, to the to the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday night
at Fenway Park. Michael Harris II went 4‑for‑4 with three RBI, including a pivotal eighth‑inning home run. Spencer Strider allowed three runs over five innings to earn the win. Ranger Suarez gave up five runs in five-plus innings and took the loss.
Red Sox-Braves Game Summary
Jarren Duran and Ceddanne Rafaela opened the bottom of the first with back‑to‑back home runs off Spencer Strider. It gave the Red Sox an early 2–0 lead.
Braves Storm Back
Suárez held the Braves scoreless through four innings before Matt Olson tied the game with a two‑run home run in the fifth. Michael Harris II gave the Braves a 3–2 lead in the sixth with an RBI ground‑rule double.
Suárez exited after the double, and Greg Weissert entered in relief. The Braves added two more runs on a Dom Smith RBI groundout and a Ronald Acuña Jr. RBI single.
Strider left after walking Wilyer Abreu in the bottom of the sixth. The Red Sox loaded the bases with no outs, but scored only one run on a double play.
